Wrinkles over night?
Q. Dear Daphne, Maybe you can help me with this, I am 33 years old and have just noticed wrinkles around my eyes. I take good care of my skin and have wrinkles no where else. I do not understand, it seems like they appeared overnight! Is this normal? Can you suggest something to help me? Sincerely, Distraught |
| A. Dear Distraught, There are many reasons for the skin to wrinkle around the eyes from too much sun to lack of sleep. In your case of it seemingly to have happened suddenly, I would first check if it is an allergy. Is there a new skincare product, makeup, perfume, etc that you have begun using? If so, discontinue it for a few days and see if the condition improves. Stop each product one at a time so that you can determine which one is causing the problem. Please write back if the condition persists. Warmest regards, Daphne |
follow-up. Hi Daphne! You were so right. I narrowed it down to an eye shadow that I bought two weeks ago. I stopped using it and within three days I was wrinkle free! No more bargain mak-up for me.
Thank you so much, Mary (Distraught)

Waxing question...
Q. Hi Daphne, I am interested in having a full leg and bikini wax done. I have had this done once in the past, and usually shave, however I would like to start waxing now.
Can you tell me how long the leg wax would last? I know everyone is different, but just a general idea would be good.
I hope to come soon. Thanks Helen |
A. Dear Helen, Congratulations on your decision to begin waxing. As you know, shaving makes the hair come back faster and thicker every time that you shave. Waxing is just the opposite, with every wax the hair will become lighter and will take more time to come back. Everyone is different and can expect different results, but on average a person that waxes regularly needs to do it only once or twice a month. All the best, Daphne
